Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from flexible to placed housing. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses 27+, and willingness to relocate. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and on-duty housing with meals and utilities. The role emphasizes a structured, family-like environment and a strong commitment to student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
