Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in a student home, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with the same student group. The role emphasizes creating a structured, family-like environment to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. This position requires relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-campus housing and a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off. It is a two-person, married-couple role with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
