Job Summary
Couples live in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting; initially work on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and eventually transition to aPlaced Houseparent role with the same group of students; relocation to Hershey, PA is involved with on-campus housing benefits and paid relocation/training; fully funded benefits and compensation provided per couple.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
