Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist - Flex Houseparents (two-person married-couple role) living on-campus to care for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially rotating through multiple student homes on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couples
- Proselytizing prohibited on campus
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds
