Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School are a two-person married couple living in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor groups of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. They lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, follow a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule, and may transition into a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple when combined, including housing and meals on duty), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage stability (two spouses married for at least two years)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
