Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from initial nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. The role is a two-person, married-couple position with both spouses completing individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
