Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School. They provide care, supervision, guidance, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and follow a nine-on, three-off duty schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student home. Relocation assistance is provided; the compensation per person is $46,917 with comprehensive benefits and housing, totaling about $180,000 per couple. The role requires the two spouses to work together in a two-person team and complete separate applications.”,
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
