Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and guiding devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and transitions to living with the same student group as a placed houseparent. Relocation assistance is provided, along with comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married minimum for couple role
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol while on duty
