Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on an on-campus student home to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home; benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Requires youth-facing experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a physical residence on campus; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
