Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person married-couple role residing on campus in Hershey, PA, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Duties include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, conducting daily devotions, and supporting budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement in a dedicated student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married spouses
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to safety and campus rules
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA area if required
