Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, scheduling, mentorship, and activities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially working a 9-days-on, 3-days-off cycle and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Required to relocate to Hershey, PA area with relocation assistance; housing and benefits included. Two-person, legally married couple teams are required, with both spouses completing individual applications; minimum age 27 for each spouse; high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and no alcohol on duty. Prior experience with youth is preferred.
