Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent positions on a live-in basis at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care, including managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and planning/engaging in developmental and recreational activities. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later, couples transition to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Two-person role for couples (pair eligibility and joint applications)
