Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students per home, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting and planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a safe, family-like environment. The position starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. The role includes relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Complete individual employment applications for consideration by both spouses
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
