Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in on-site student homes, supervising 8–13 students and providing care, guidance, and supervision. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, overseeing daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license (and certification to drive student vans), and being part of a legally married couple for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
