Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from initially supporting various student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration; the role requires a legally married two-person team aged 27+, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
