Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist - Flex Houseparents: Two-person, on-campus live-in roles in Hershey, PA for married couples to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine days on, three off, then transition to a placed houseparent role with same group of students. Salary per person $44,768 with total compensation for a couple around $168,000, plus relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and housing while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for consideration
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
