Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a college-prep school campus. Two-person team resides in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same students in their home. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid U.S. driver's license; willing to become certified to drive student home vans; two-spouse requirement with both spouses age 27 or older; married for at least two years; ability to reside in on-campus student homes; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance (proselytizing prohibited)
