Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes in Riverside, CA and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Two-person role for legally married spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Ability to drive student home vans
