Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes. Couples reside with 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care; responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured family-like environment. Initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided. Requires a legally married couple, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, and valid driver’s license; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
