Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role residing in on-campus student homes to oversee a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, scheduling, medication administration, transportation, and activity planning; responsibilities include leading devotions, Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting, with a rotating schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning later to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires married couple, both spouses age 27+, High School diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA area; relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
