Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and conducting daily devotions and Chapel attendance. Initially, the schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a later transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead students in devotions and Chapel services
