Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routines, medications, transportation to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. Initially covering multiple student homes on a nine-on, three-off cycle, with eventual placement into a single student home. Requires high school diploma or GED, both spouses aged 27+, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs. Relocation assistance provided as part of benefits. This is a two-person role for legally married couples; both spouses must complete individual applications. Location: Gallatin, TN (on-campus) with relocation to Hershey, PA as necessary. Relocation and training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proselytizing prohibited
