Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple student homes, with eventual placement into a single student home. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model status for students
- Relocation to on-campus housing in Hershey, PA
- Residence in on-campus student homes and supervision of 8–13 students
