Job Summary
Full-time two-person Flex Houseparents role on Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with a work schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. The position transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness for two-person married couple role
- Commitment to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
