Job Summary
Two-person on-campus live-in role providing care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students in student homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, then transitions to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with full-time employment, a salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple when including housing and benefits), and comprehensive benefits. Relocation assistance and paid training are offered. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications and meet age, marital, and other status requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students

- No alcohol permitted while on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Commitment to a safe, supervised campus environment
