Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School involves residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, mentorship, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two individual employment applications for consideration

- No more than three dependent children in the home
