Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus, providing supervision, guidance, and activities for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from flexible placements to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; relocation assistance is provided and benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to religious services
- Must be legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
