Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for a two-person, married-couple team serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They reside in on-campus student homes with a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off toward a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same group of students. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
