Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students and provide care, guidance, and development opportunities. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines management, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent. Requires married couple, age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; both spouses must submit individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
