Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School provide care, supervision, and guidance to groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, coordinating routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from flexible home assignments to the same student home as a placed houseparent. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Salary is $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple with benefits) with comprehensive benefits and housing/meal utilities included. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
