Job Summary
Two-person married couple roles as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus and supervising 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, mentorship, administering medications, coordinating routines, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Work pattern starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- Desire to live on-campus with students in a family-like setting
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
