Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, care, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students; responsibilities include medication administration, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting; nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; eventually transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students in their home; salary per person around $44,768 with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age requirement: both spouses 27 or older
