Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, residing on-campus to supervise and mentor groups of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially supporting various student homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role for ongoing housing with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires a legally married two-year couple, both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED, with on-campus housing and driving responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
