Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
