Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist — two-person Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and activities for a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule features nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
