Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist job for a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a college-like campus. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding daily devotions, Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-day-on/three-day-off schedule to a consistent home-based placement. Requires on-campus housing, on-campus living with students, and a two-person, fully committed married-couple arrangement with valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to campus policies. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
