Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on Milton Hershey School campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a permanent Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
