Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent couple needed to reside on campus at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of about 813 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
- Completed individual employment applications by both spouses
