Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) needed to reside on campus in Hershey, PA and supervise 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from flexible placement to a stable, same-family student home. The role involves a rotation of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. Relocation assistance is provided along with comprehensive benefits. Requires experience with youth, ability to lead religious activities within Judeo-Christian context (no proselytizing), a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; two-year-married spouses aged 27+ are required for the two-person role. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
- Active participation in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for roles as on-campus houseparents
