Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support to 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving and coordinating activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent Houseparent assignment. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van certification ability, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Requires a legally married two-year partnership for both spouses and relocation to the Hershey, PA area with full-time benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Chapel services
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
