Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and supervise 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role operates on a nine-consecutive-days-on duty schedule followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group in their own home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse required for consideration
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
Desired Qualifications

- Ability to drive student vans (certification)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness for two-person married-couple employment
- Ability to lead devotions and chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- On-campus housing duties and on-site presence
