Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent role. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and housing/ meals on duty. The position requires a legally married two-person team, high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van certification, and compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Desire to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
