Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, duties follow a nine-on, three-off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
