Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in family-like homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions into a placed houseparent position living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance is provided and compensation is employer-paid housing and benefits as part of total package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples; must complete individual employment applications
