Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role at Milton Hershey School involves a two-person Flex Houseparent team living on-campus to supervise and mentor a group of ~813 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and ultimately transition to a placed Houseparent within a student home. The position requires relocation to Hershey, PA, and a two-person co-employment arrangement for married couples, with both spouses completing individual applications; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver7s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
