Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, providing care, discipline, and structured routines. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The role requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, U.S. driver’s license with potential to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits and paid time off. The position demands a high level of commitment to student success and a family-like living environment on campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
