Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role residing in an on-campus student home in Hershey, PA. Couples provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a shared house to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; includes comprehensive benefits. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and obtain driver certification for student vans; adheres to smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
