Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and manage budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a legally married couple (both spouses) with a minimum two-year marriage, both spouses age 27 or older, and a high school diploma or GED. A valid U.S. driver’s license is needed, and the position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
