Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, administering medications, coordinating routines and schedules, driving and engaging students in activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and progresses to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, eligibility to drive student home vans, and that both spouses are legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. Applicants must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Desire to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
