Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on an on-campus student home in Hershey, PA area, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule transitioning to a placed Houseparent role living with the same student group; requires married couples, both spouses 27+ with at least two years of marriage, high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, willingness to relocate, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples
- Legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
